Sheldarich Cockers was only established in 2013 when my passion for cocker spaniels became a reality after purchasing my foundation boy 'Andy' from Sue Bruno of Cobalt Cockers and reentering the ring leading to our first Australian Champion here at Sheldarich.

My prefix was inherited from my grandmother who for many years with the assistance of my mother bred and showed Champion Shetland Sheepdogs. Both have encouraged and supported my passion and after my grandmothers passing I chose to honour her through the one thing we shared. 

 

It was no surprise that growing up with such a strong presence in the ring that my love for showing and breeding came about, during my show career I have had the pleasure of showing and owning Shetland sheepdogs, Pembroke corgis, a dachshund and a Pekingese as well as campaigning for many others. But my passion has always been the Cocker spaniel.

Here at Sheldarich we primarily breed Roans and parti colours with the new introduction of our solids in 2016, our dogs are family pets first show dogs second, they eat, sleep and grow up with our family not in kennels.
